* Mushaira organized by Yaad-e-Durgesh Noor Manch at Press Club
Dehradun!( 25 November 2023) Mushaira was organized at the Press Club by Yaad-e-Durgesh Noor Manch, in which, Padma Shri Dr. B. K. S. Sanjay was present as the chief guest and president. He participated and enthralled everyone with his poems which was greatly appreciated by all the people present.
During the Mushaira, Dr. B. K. S. Sanjay said in his address that animals also experience but humans have the ability to express. The medium of expression is speech and writing. There are only three ways to learn: by listening, by seeing and by doing. As there is literature in the society, people will listen, see and do the same. If any kind of change has to be brought in the society, then it will have to be brought about in the thoughts of any person, society or country as done by the texts like Ramayana, Geeta, Guru Granth, Agama, Quran, Bible, Tripitaka etc.
During the program, Dr. Sanjay said that the contribution of litterateurs, writers, poets and other people has been more than that of politicians in changing the society because after all literature has played a big role in making politicians, officials and other influential people of the society. He said he believes that the contribution of litterateurs is incomparable and it is rightly said that literature is the mirror of society, Satyam Shivam Sundaram. Dr. Sanjay expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the program – poet Ruba Bijnauri, Arun Kumar Bhatt, Rakesh Jain and director Shams Tabrezi and all the colleagues by reciting the poem ‘Sapne Aapke Aur Hamare’ from his poetry collection “Uphaar Sandesh Ka”
The main poets of this Mushaira program include Salim Amrohi, Amir Imam, Shams Tabrezi, Rakesh Jain Rakesh, Arun Kumar Bhatt, Naeem Rashid, Ana Dehlavi, Rajib Riaz, Gulshan Bijnouri, Brigadier K.G. Behal, Anil Aggarwal etc. enthralled the audience by presenting their respective poetry and ghazals in the Press Club.
